i think 10 years ago, God gave Stephen a vision that from blk 26 there will arise a congregation of worshippers :) So until now, he has been steadfastly and consistently visiting blk 26, caring for the poor, mentally ill and physically handicapped... Now we join him in the ministry and God is opening many doors for us - sometimes the amount of financial help they need (to take care of bills, daily needs) overwhelms us..but i am really thankful that God has allowed us to build bonds with them and to help them in whatever way we can, and they have also very kindly allowed us to pray blessings over them.. Prayerfully and hopefully these seeds will grow beautifully. Anyways, i want to talk about a great work that God has done in one of the residents' life! this uncle has been suffering from epileptic fits since he was young. One day during a visit, Paul and Stephen prayed for him, and his epileptic fits started to go away and within months it was completely gone. And because of that this uncle accepted Christ! all glory to God! :) this is the kingdom come :D Labels: ministry, missions, testimonies |
