the church split into 4 teams of 3 or 4 people, chipped in $5 each, headed to the market to get some groceries- bread, noodle, canned food (which we divided in 3 portions). And we were off to blk 26 again! While the other groups headed to other houses, our group followed up on one of the aunties which God led us to in our previous trip there... She lives alone, earns $100 a month. Despite that, she is a very cheerful aunty and speaks Chinese/ Cantonese. It is good to know that she is doing well, and she was happy to have company in her house, and we were glad to speak with her :) When we asked her if we could pray a prayer of blessing for her, she said ok, so we prayed for her in chinese :) Even though she does not know Christ yet, we know that God is definitely planting seeds in her heart and prayerfully and hopefully it will grow beautifully :) The next house we visited was a Muslim family which consists of a very young couple, 2 little kids and a grandma- all in a one room flat. They were not open for prayer last time when we went, and this time too, but we were happy to just bless them with practical foods that they can use to feed the family. Prayerfully, God will surely path a way for us and them :) Today God opened a new door for us!!! We had one more portion of provisions, so we randomly knocked on doors, and after a few doors, this uncle opened up his house to us. He does not have a job at all.. we were happy that God opened up this new door, and that we will be able to minister to him more :) We were glad to hear great reports from the other 2 groups too! David/Stephen's group were able to pray for 7 ppl (muslims, hindus) , Kewei's group was able to speak with 3 new families which we did not have contact with..and when we were meeting for debrief, Janet's group was still talking with the families, so we are sure that God is doing a great work there too!!! it's great how God works :) Labels: ministry, missions, testimonies  Have been doing some digi painting to distress. haha. trying to get some oil painting effect. i tink oil painting makes a person look older? but it's nice!!! (No video clips allow) Specs • Live action or CGI Composite or Animation • PAL format Labels: work Was so tired today. but when we got back, the clear sky was FILLED with beautiful stars!!!!! so many stars that the sky looked pixelated and it was so pretty!!! And that lifted my tired spirits :) God is so amazing!!! :D The whole earth is filled with His glory!!!! barely got 8 hours sleep in total for the past 3 days. Now the concealer is my best friend! But, am happy that the MTV animatic, written assignment, communication Oral Presentation is completed this week. Stopmotion still needs to be polished , and the teacher is already giving out a new assignment T-T Next week got 4 deadlines again - no wonder they call them deadlines! i am waiting to have enough free time to blog about my birthday which had past and take the photos of my big birthday present ( a 21.5'' LCD screen!!!). Ben used his old computer parts and my brother's old computer parts (which he gave me because he was getting a mac) to fix me a computer!!! Now i have a computer--- and a big screen to do my animation stuff - i am very happy!!! :D thank God for strength and joy :) Heyos, i set up another side-blog to share some christian reflections here.hahah. it is freshly out of the oven!!! but i'll still be using this blog for my work and everything else.
