sometimes i forget what it's all about. watched "Outlander' last night after my lesson! It's supposed to be quite-a low budget movie, (their official website is on wordpress. HAHA) but i've seen some rather good critics for it!  anyways, before you believe me and rush off to see it now, it's a sci-fi action movie about Vikings versus aliens! :D Compositing, visual effects --my kind of thing! :D i chose it over a romance comedy! :D heh, anyways, it's a good movie! Watched "Underworld' last week! if you like the previous 'underworld's, this would be nice for you! :D  Vday was spent in church and thereafter doing our 1st project (3 in total) for CA for our GER elective, Frontiers in Mechatronics (which we took together!) we finished at 4am in the morning! Bye off to do work again! Another recent assignment - planning, storyboarding and making the animatics for a MTV. Required to choose any song of our choice and come up with an original plot (i guess?) -_____- choosing music is a a hassle for me cos i only listen to christian music -...- and if i choose a bad piece, then i wont be able to do the MTV properly! T-T anyways, I asked Ben if he know any - apparently we only have a handful of non-christian songs that we know off -..- T-T anyways, happy that there is Jason Mraz!!!! just listened to any some random Jason Mraz songs online and i found something near to what i wanted. HEH!!! and my MTV music is playing in the background in the blog ! *wink Recent assignment for Digi Compositing was to take a photo in ntu in daylight, change the lighting to sunset or night, and then composite a photo of me/my friend in. Anyways, Shake is the software they use in ILM! so cool. Because of this Mac-only software, i'm comtemplating on getting a mac -___________________- ,cos it really is an awesome software!!! not very welldone, but oh wells. The wonder of digi touch-up and compositing!!!!  +  +  =   quite embarassing to use a photo of ben and me, frontal view, but i had no choice cos i didnt have another photo (with at least a 3/4 body shot) to use!! COOL! i'm so going to use it! ahah It's been a busy week! and more deadlines coming up, but happy that the assignments are all interesting, though tedious! Whole of Saturdays are usually spent in church. But now there's another drummer, i dont have to play every week! wakakakaka! had a good worship meeting after service(after eeons!), and a nice dinner with ben at novena :D nice dinner is therapeutic for our tired minds and bodies! :D waKAKAK! Today a small group of us went to BLK 26 at Sin ming to offer to pray for the sick and needy. Never expected there to be a place like that near bishan -.- Blk 26 is a studio flat filled with 'outcasts'.. people with mental illnesses, very poor and very old people. Their apartments only consists of a main living room and a toilet. So we split into 2 groups(7 of us) and prayed that God would open doors for us, and went knocking on doors to wish the people happy new year and ask if they have any needs we can pray for. Were very happy that God opened 4 non-christian families to pray ! 1 muslim family who has a grandma who is terminally ill in hospital, 1 old lady who has no kids to take care of her, and an aunty who lives with her sister, as well as a crippled uncle who has 2 mentally-ill boys who are 20+. It's heart wrenching to hear their stories and see how they live. But we are very thankful that so far, these doors are opened, and prayerfully, as we visit and pray for them, they may encounter the true hope and life that is in Christ alone. It's quite tough to share the gospel unashamed, but step by step, God will path our ways and work in us such that love for the lost overwhelms us so much that we will not be ashamed... It's so hard to find a cheap organiser that caters to your own needs in shops! neeways, downloaded a jpg. calendar from www.blankcalendar.org, photoshopped it abit (got rid of the american holidays haha) and put in my favourite characters!
